Independent Spanish director/CD (formerly a co-founder and director at DVEIN) Fernando Domínguez Cózar shows off his mastery of style, tone and haunting photo-real 3D in these titles for Kike Maíllo’s second feature film, an action thriller called “Toro.”

Fernando Domínguez Cózar: “Everything except two scenes were done in 3D. In file 01 [below] you see the two scenes that were live-action based.

“In file 02 you see some of the examples of how I worked with the rest of the scenes. Some of them were created from zero and others where created using photos and projecting them over 3D geometry inside a 3D environment in order to have a tri-dimensional feeling.

“The opening titles are a journey through the landscapes where the movie takes place. Inside a dreamlike atmosphere we discover the characters and information to be revealed in the film. The landscapes work not only as environments or dead nature but as characters too.”
