Venerable British soap opera Emmerdale celebrates 50 years on air with this ambitious promo for an anniversary episode featuring 3D-scanned/printed figures of the cast with VFX and post by London studio Coffee & TV.
From the crew at Coffee & TV: “ITV Creative asked us to work on their campaign to celebrate Emmerdale’s 50th anniversary. Our VFX teams helped to craft the effects of a brewing storm destroying the birthday cake that features characters and the set of the much-loved soap.
“The cake disaster aims to mirror the storylines of the show’s anniversary week, which saw a storm rip through the famous Yorkshire village.”
