The first true epic of the 2018 holiday ad season just landed – a three-minute whirlwind of CG characters and miniature sets wrapped in a lesson for creative types – courtesy of TBWA\Media Arts Lab and the Buck crew.

Production details and credits are slim at the moment but fortunately, the making-of video below is comprehensive and insightful.

What we do know is the song was written for the spot by Los Angeles singer/songwriter Billie Eilish, a 16-year-old prodigy who, according to Wikipedia, has been writing songs on her Mac since she was 11.
