Nexus Studios welcomes director Shane Griffin to its global roster for commercial representation. Shane brings a media-straddling, unique blend of high-end artistic design, live-action filmmaking, and emerging technologies to the roster. His work seamlessly blends surrealism with futuristic themes, capturing attention for clients like Apple, BMW, Givenchy, and Guinness. He has also collaborated on music promos for renowned artists like Wiz Khalifa and exhibited his artwork globally.
Shane’s laser-sharp design and artistic approach were honed through his time as a Psyop Director, Creative Director at Method Studios, Global Creative Director for Los York and in his role as Head of Motion Design at Man vs Machine. His leadership skills have been solidified in the creation of bespoke artworks, live-action film direction, and animation. His mesmerising film, “Chromatic,” was even screened at the prestigious TED conference.
Shane’s talent is recognised by the industry, earning him accolades like being named a Louis Vuitton “200 Visionary,” and ADC Young Gun. He has also received awards such as Cannes Gold Lion and Shark Awards. Additionally, he has shared his expertise by speaking and judging at industry events such as AEG, ADC, Forward Festival Berlin, and OFFF Tel Aviv.
This signing marks an exciting period at Nexus Studios, aligning with the company’s focus on spatial computing production and following the launch of their successful motion design division, Nexus Design Studio. Shane’s proven ability to combine live-action and design opens up exciting possibilities in emerging fields like AI and Real-Time filmmaking, a collaboration ripe with potential.
