Director/animator Laura Jayne Hodkin in London: “For a song about death, it’s incredibly fun. I wanted the visuals to be bright with garish colors and playful character animation to compliment the dark humor of the song.

“I liked the idea of having this recently deceased character trapped in a virtual afterlife surrounded by aloof figures, manic pop-ups, and blingy-inspired graphics.

“It’s kind of like they are trapped in a very chaotic limbo until they finally reach the end chorus and big party finale, their final destination before deletion.”
