Motion North, the Manchester-based group of designers, animators, and VFX artists, returns January 17, 2024 with presentations from audio mavens Zelig Sound and pioneering visual studio Universal Everything.
Motion North founder Jonathan Ashworth: “Universal Everything has always been a studio at the forefront of our industry. A collective of artists and future makers. They create new forms of moving image, interaction and immersive spaces. Joining us for the January event are two of their global collective, Joel Lewis and Chris Mullany.
“We are also very excited to welcome Zelig Sound. Anyone working in our field will know them as industry leaders in music and sound design for motion design. We can’t wait to find out more about their creative process.”
“We’re also delighted to announce that Maxon, makers of Cinema 4D, Redshift, and many others, is joining us as our headline sponsor for 2024. We’ve lots planned, including some benefits and freebies. We will be in touch more as we work things out.
Escape Technology are continuing to support the event, as they have for the last few years, and they’ll be here on the night. A lot of you will already know Escape, and will work with them as your trusted technology partners. They work with multi-award winning computer graphics artists and studios, and partner with cutting-edge technology companies across the globe.
And don’t forget our media partners at Stash, the magazine/website that showcases exceptional motion design, animation, and VFX projects and the people who create them. As part of this partnership we’ll be giving away subscriptions over the year.
