In their latest collaboration for the London Symphony Orchestra, CG motion trailblazers XK studio and the London office of Design Bridge and Partners transform brain scan data into a spectacular visit to Jupiter.
Directors Alexa Sirbu and Lukas Vojir at XK studio: “This year, the LSO entered another exciting chapter with Sir Antonio Pappano as the new chief conductor. To mark the occasion we developed an approach to capture the emotional power of their performances.
“The animation sequence is driven by the brain activity data of an audience member [captured at University College London] as they listen to “Jupiter, the Bringer of Jollity”, the fourth movement of Gustav Holst’s orchestral suite The Planets, performed by the LSO.”
