Director Chang Yahui and her studio YAGA Animation in Taipei open the 2021 Vision Get Wild Awards in Taiwan with this non-stop, neo-retro motion frenzy built around the theme “Creating variants, attacking the strong.”

Chang Yahui: “This dynamic vision is designed with 2D and 3D combined with UI programming. The overall picture uses multiple cuts to present complex and diverse information. At the same time, the video combines website experience, clicks, zooms, scrolling pages, etc., to increase the fun of watching.

“[In the film] a story is posted from the real world and enters a new wild land full of information explosions and unknowns. It uses plants that best adapt to environmental changes as a metaphor for designers, and encourages designers to break away from the framework of existing tools, quickly modify cross-domain variants, and reject restrictions.

“The rapid changes in the creative environment such as the information explosion, the 5G era, and the sudden outbreak of the epidemic, mean we must make changes so that design can achieve information transmission in a more efficient and resource-saving manner, and break away from the existing framework to attract attention from the public.

Previous notable work for the Vision Get Wild Awards includes these titles by Bito in 2020, and this promo by Whitelight Motion in 2018.
