WIZZ director Victor Haegelin, whose many stop-motion marvels include the short film Captain 3D (on the cover of Stash 131), continues to innovate with this frantic and intensely detailed music video for American band The Avett Brothers.

The choice to include the process and people behind the animation in the finished footage adds a disarming here’s-how-we-did-it charm as well as a mesmerizing sense of just how much work and fun went into the production.
