Psyop veteran and art-meets-science guru Todd Akita takes his considerable skills west to Broadway, joining The Mill crew as senior technical director.

The Mill is excited to announce that Todd Akita has joined the CG team as senior a FX/TD artist.
Todd joins The Mill from Psyop, where he was one of the originating artists and served as senior technical director.
His incredible artistry and talent intersects between art and science. He is one of the most highly recognized and admired artists in the industry. Throughout his career he has collaborated with some of the worlds most iconic brands such as AT&T, Apple, Bombay Sapphire, Coca-Cola, Ford, LG, Mercedes, Nike, Twinings and Volkswagen to name few.
Todd’s work been recognized throughout his career with numerous prestigious awards from the D&AD’s, Cannes Lions, AICP, Clio Awards, Annie Awards, Broadcast Design Awards, Ciclope, Awards and LIA’s.
Todd is passionate about his craft and the creative development of other artists and he regularly speaks at industry conferences and festivals including Siggraph and Autodesk University. He has taught at Parsons School of Design, NYU and SVA.
