Just before Christmas in 2012, London artist/animator Steve Cutts released “Man”, an ironically jaunty short film about the Anthropocene apocalypse in all its dark and ridiculous glory.

Moby, one of the film’s many admirers, subsequently hired Cutts to make the video for “Are You Lost In The World Like Me?”, a Max Fleischer-inspired stab at mobile phone addiction which won the 2017 Webby Award for animation.

Now, in the middle of another human-made crisis, Cutts once again taps into what needs to said with “Man 2020” a one-minute update of the original film.
