BAFTA Award-winning director Jac Clinch and the Blinkink animation and model crew unravel the strange tale of an astronaut’s encounter with an ancient civilization of Martian crows for British band Police Dog Hogan.
Jac Clinch: “The band gave me the rare gift of an open brief, allowing us to shape a story completely in response to the music. Naturally, the song conjured for me a lonely Martian farmer, driven mad by the sighting of an incongruous crow!
“As the tale unfolds, the astronaut discovers the lost valley of the crows, sharing a planet that he thought was solely populated by a few humans.
“The question ‘Is there life on Mars?’ has been answered with a resounding yes but by no means in quite the way you’d expect.”
