Hornet directors Natalie Labarre and Yves Geleyn help Century 21 celebrate 50 years in the real estate trade with a series of warm-hearted (and in one case, tear-inducing) real-world stories from agents who go above and beyond selling houses.

From Hornet: “Natalie and Yves are two directors who know each other well. For many years before her elevation to director, Natalie was a lead animator for various Yves-led projects.

“The result is a series of films that not only have distinctly Yves and Natalie stamps of directorial vision imprinted throughout, but that also feel pinpointedly on-brand for Century 21. For example, one key design theme is the ubiquitous inclusion of Century 21’s revamped brand color palette of golds, grays, and beiges.

“But each film also comes with its own distinct color accent to drive the narrative forward and differentiate the stories. In fact, that was a big part of the creative challenge — ensuring each story felt unique yet also congruent under the Century 21 brand umbrella.”

Yves Geleyn: “That was a fun part of the project. Each film had a different vibe. Some emotional, some funny. The rhythm of each story all had a little bit different of a hit. But all had to use the same design.”

Natalie Labarre: “The spectrum of emotion was really interesting. Our goal was to develop a sophisticated style that would best reflect these stories individually and as a whole.”
