Director Jacob Kurek and the design and animation team at BluBlu craft a prismatic explainer for Natural Atlas, an interactive app designed to connect users with nature and a community of fellow naturalists.

BluBlu EP Karolina Molska: “The vision for this animation was to create the magic of nature documentary films with a hint of a modern stylistic vibe, appealing to the millennials taking a break from their hectic city lives, to fully recharge in the beautiful outdoors.

“We decided to cast Nature in the leading role of the story, which both the viewer and the supporting characters can be a part of.

“We collaborated fully with Natural Atlas on the script development, the narrative and stylistic concepts, through to animation (digital, cel and 3D) and right up to sound design and music composition.”
