J.R CANEST
Jorge R. Canedo E., known as Jr.canest, is a creative director and animator based in Vancouver, Canada. Growing up in Bolivia, his curiosity about how things worked led him from stop-motion videos to Flash animations, and eventually to his passion: Motion Design. After winning a scholarship to Vancouver Film School, he worked at Buck and Giant Ant before founding his own studio, Ordinary Folk, in 2019.

SOMEI
Somei is a CG advertising director and motion designer. Early in his career, he gained industry attention for producing high-quality commercial advertisements through solo production methods. He excels at breaking traditional industrial processes and creating independent art pieces that challenge conventional frameworks in the commercial creative environment.

ASH THORP
Ash Thorp, founder of ALT Creative, Inc., is a renowned artist in graphic design, VFX, motion graphics, and film directing. His work spans from Ender’s Game in 2014 to the new Batmobile in The Batman (2022). Thorp’s cinematic artistry captivates with surreal hyperrealistic animations, blurring the line between reality and CGI. His aim is to honor the past while innovating for the future, creating a bridge between them.

SACHIE KIKUCHI
Sachie Kikuchi is a self-taught Japanese designer with an eclectic background. Formerly a producer for a broadcasting company in Switzerland, she has over 15 years of on-set video production experience, working with multinational companies and international organizations. During the Covid-19 pandemic, she made a bold career shift, teaching herself motion design without any prior design and animation software knowledge.

NAHUEL GERTH
Nahuel Gerth is a designer and creative technologist. He explores the intersection of science, art, and technology. His work in the worlds of code and design is driven by curiosity and experimental play. Fascinated by code as the DNA of our modern world, he views Creative Coding as a means to access, dissect, and reshape this foundational layer. He uses Creative Coding is a tool for dreaming up new and playful speculative realities and developing visual narratives.

BEN MARRIOT
Ben Marriott is a Sydney-based designer, illustrator, and animator with more than 10 years of experience in the motion design industry. He has spent the last five years building the largest Motion Design-focused YouTube channel on the platform to teach and share his animation process. His focus is on using humour to express his ideas and make the teaching process fun, engaging and beyond the surface level of a technique.
