Mikkel Mainz – Studio Skjaldborn
Skjaldborn is a full-pipeline creative house and animation studio in Copenhagen, Denmark, lead by Mikkel Mainz and Edith Marie Nielsen. In their series Høj, their mission is to give audiences captivating experiences through high-quality, unconventional, and exciting storytelling. We embark on an epic adventure to discover Høj’s true identity, learn his magical ability of shapeshifting and soon realize that he must use his powers to prevent a new Ragnarok from happening.
Matilde Digmann
Award winning artist and author, Matilde’s artistic practice is multi-faceted but rooted in outing shadow and exposing things we usually try to keep in the dark, calling out biased societal structures and discrepancies in dominant morality. Mat is in pursuit of healing a generation of men and women who have been radicalized by growing up in capitalist patriarchy – via the graphic novels Pseudo and Bad Boys. Their second focus is working towards bettering the artistic community – in service to particularly blocked artists via their podcast Shadow Work.
Rune Ryberg
Rune Ryberg is an award-winning Danish comic book artist and character designer grounded in character animation. His comics show a visual language saturated with energy and color, often with extended sequences presenting little or no dialogue. It’s dynamic and dazzling, with dramatic shifts from panel to panel and page to page while maintaining a clear and vivid story.
