Digital artist Erik Wernquist in Stockholm: “If we want to travel beyond our solar system within a human lifetime, we will need to find ways to go incredibly fast. Ultimately, it comes down to our understanding of physics and the laws that govern the Universe.

“Go Incredibly Fast is a short film I made for the Limitless Space Institute in Texas. The film is about the immense distances between stars and the long durations we would have to endure in order to traverse them, even if utilizing methods of propulsion at the very limits of scientific knowledge.

“The Limitless Space Institute does physics research with a focus on advanced propulsion and the ultimate vision of advancing human exploration beyond our solar system. This short film was made to raise awareness of their work and inspire people to join them in their mission.”
