Kim Gryun, a designer/animator at GIANTSTEP in Seoul, South Korea, responded to the studio’s latest in-house DesignRelay motion study group theme of “H.R. Giger” with this carefully lit and richly detailed take on “Alien.”

Kim Gryun: “I wanted to mix vice versa feeling such as Natural Manufacture, Rough Clean, Texture and color. I put the harmony of them in an exhibition space.

“In this project, I had a chance to study Marvelous Designer which is for cloth simulation. It was a definitely amazing tool. Easy to control, fast and intuitive result.”
