The motion crew at London’s Form Films constructs a full-CG reveal film for the XP electric motorcycle, a collaboration between vehicle designer Hugo Eccles at UNTLD MOTO and American manufacturer Zero Motorcycles.

Dan Preston-George, producer at Form Films: “Inspired by the XP’s radical design and UNTLD MOTO’s meticulous process, we structured the film around the concept of completely rebuilding the motorcycle piece by piece.
 

“We brought the concept of ‘Genesis’ to life in the physical sense (how materials and components come together) and in the conceptual sense (the evolution of motorcycle design).”

 
“These shots echo the designer’s attention to detail and are interwoven with high-energy riding sequences (also built in CG) that showcase the motorcycle’s beauty and rideability. This approach allowed us to showcase Eccles’ visionary design and served as a fitting way to announce ‘a new era in motorcycling’.

“The challenge was to create a compelling brand film that showcased the XP’s groundbreaking design while speaking to motorcycle enthusiasts, as well as a broader audience interested in the future of transportation.

“To achieve this, we brought the concept of ‘Genesis’ to life in the physical sense (how materials and components come together) and in the conceptual sense (the evolution of motorcycle design). The story structure not only mirrors the design process, but represents the fundamental shift from combustion to electric power and XP’s position as a vanguard of that transformation.”
