The design and motion team at Floating Point Art in Taipei craft a convincing case for Giant’s on-going commitment to reducing the carbon footprint of their bicycles with this full-CG brand film.
Director Jie Liou at FPA: “‘A Trail to Zero’ weaves a poetic path between futurism and minimalism. Discarded fishing nets become recycled nylon. Plants and microorganisms crystallize into Bioplastics. Industrial waste is reborn as rCF, and EVA takes new form as rEVA.
“Through high-quality abstract effects and intricate depictions of a microscopic world, the transformation unfolds. Light and natural hues resonate in harmony, tracing a soft yet steadfast journey toward net zero. It symbolizes a promise to the future, echoing the client’s commitment to reduce each bicycle’s carbon footprint by 40 kilograms by 2030.”
