The inaugural Adobe Stock Artist Awards get underway with this spirited promo from Lisbon-based motion graphics and animation studio Dialogue using a combination of 2D and After Effects.
Dialogue producer Elsa Lourenço: “The task at hand was to create a cohesive storyline using the stock artwork by artists selected by Adobe Stock. The selection process of the artwork was based on its quality, relevance, and suitability for the project. However, for Dialogue, it was challenging to blend different artworks into a consistent narrative, as each piece had its unique style, tone, and message.
“There was also the need to create a character that accurately represented the brand. This character needed to transcend any gender-related issues, which meant that it should not reinforce gender stereotypes or offend anyone based on their gender identity.
“To achieve this goal, Dialogue’s team had to undergo several iterations of character design to ensure that the final product was as inclusive and representative as possible.”
