Directors Tim McCourt and Max Taylor at London animation force The Line intro Marvel’s new digital collectible card game Snap with a stylized three-minute blast across the brand’s multiverse of hero couples.

Powered by a track from singer-songwriter/producer Jacob Lawson (Jvke) and DJ/producer Martin Garrix, the film
deploys a variety of animation styles to feature Black Panther and Storm, Rogue and Gambit, Spiderman and MJ, Daredevil and Electra, plus Vision and Wanda.

Tim McCourt and Max Taylor: “We really tried to explore as many interesting animation techniques as we could. It has everything from watercolour anime, to 16-bit pixels, all the way through to a vintage Risograph comic printed section. Yes, that’s right, we printed out a whole section on a Risograph!”
