When Sony Interactive Entertainment revealed the PlayStation 5 for the first time, these two CG films by Maxim Zhestkov and the Media.Work crew (now online for the first time) helped heighten the aura of anticipation and intrigue.
Director Maxim Zhestkov: “In the ‘Reveal’ film (above), the installation of thousands of interacting particles symbolized the soul of the PlayStation 5 and took the viewer to the moment when the live console appeared.
“The second video (below), eventually used as the intro video, featured PlayStation’s brand symbols – triangle, circle, cross, and square – appearing from white monoliths.”
