From the release:
Creative production company We Are Royale (WAR) is boosting its leadership with the addition of award-winning creative Jason Cook as Executive Creative Director, who will work alongside newly promoted Executive Creative Director Loren Judah. The appointments make room for WAR Co-Founder Brien Holman to assume the role of Chief Creative Officer, with fellow Co-Founder Jen Lucero taking rank as CEO.
“Jason and Loren each bring unique and complementary skillsets into the fold as we gear up for an exciting new era at We Are Royale,” states Holman. “When you combine Loren’s mastery of the interactive space, and Jason’s dexterity in traditional live-action, CG, and design, the creative leadership we have in place has never been stronger.”
“Solidifying our creative leadership allows Brien and I to steer WAR into the future as we look to build on our successes in the advertising, entertainment, and gaming space going on 15 years,” adds Lucero.
No stranger to the WAR family, as Cook has freelanced with the company over the years, he joins the staff with an accomplished entertainment and advertising career. Prior to launching his own studio, Nylon, he gained ground as a designer/animator at the top creative shops in Los Angeles, including BL:ND, Imaginary Forces, and Logan. He next held a tenure as Associate Creative Director at Superfad, where he amassed an impressive body of campaign work for Coca-Cola, Pella Windows, and Visa, while directing spots for Fiat, THQ, and League of Legends.
Cook went on to enjoy a lengthy run of freelance work as a creative director/director for Arsenal FX, Stardust, Troika, We Are Royale, and many more. In addition to his commercial representation as a director at Mutt Film, and later Dictionary Films, Cook most recently served as Creative Director at Flavor Design, where he led projects for Target, Ford, Honda, Chevy, Maytag, Walmart, Kellogg’s, and many more.
Newly promoted ECD Loren Judah, who is entering his 10th year with WAR, thrives on the aesthetics of dramatic composition, well-appointed details, and the minimalist approach. He is passionate about technology and its ability to shape worldviews. From title designs to AR/VR applications, he has spearheaded campaigns and experiences at WAR for such clients as Facebook (Meta), Riot Games, Nike, Coca-Cola, and USAF, to name a few.
As WAR looks to continue growing while sustaining its standing as a place where creativity and innovation thrive, Lucero says realigning the company’s leadership is a strategic move that will better serve its clients and staff alike.
“Smart growth is at the heart of all of this, meaning we want to continue getting better at everything we do – from diversifying and pushing the caliber of our creative output to improving on how we plan, manage, and execute projects as a team,” concludes Lucero. “Fostering growth within the organization is a big part of all of that, whether it’s creating paths for our people to grow their skillsets or move into leadership positions. With Jason and Loren stepping into their new roles, we have complete trust and admiration in their ability to make all of this possible.”
