Animation and motion folk! Take a break from the keyframes and the join us at Animorsels on Oct. 24 for a spooky evening of animated fun and drinks featuring ghoulish short animations and a talk by Davey “Swatpaz” Ferguson.

Swatpaz is Glasgow-based artist/animator working on TV shows, commercials, games, and music videos for clients such as Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network and Disney.

We’ve also got a live improvised Theremin set from Roy Palmer and two mini talks from James Wilkinson telling us about his Mini-Mutoscope kits and Laura Mathews introducing us to her interactive sculptures and puppets.

We’re also running another animation challenge! As it’s that spooky time of year the theme is “Boo!”.

Animorsels is run by Bottletop, a Nottingham animation studio. Animation events and socials, bringing together the local animation community to watch animation, learn new techniques, chat, drink, meet new people, and have a catch up.
