FutureProof ’24, The Motion Design Conference at Ringling College will be held on campus from March 11th to 15th with a range of speakers including Imaginary Forces, CNN Design, and Disney Live Entertainment.

The event, hosted by the Department of Motion Design, includes industry presentations, workshops, technical demos, and activities designed for students studying at Ringling College to ensure they have a seamless transition from the classroom to their future careers. Our mission is to prepare the next generation of visual communicators through education, inspiration, and connection.

New this year, FutureProof will present hands-on technical workshops by Maxon, the maker of Cinema 4D, 3D animation software, and Foundry, the maker of Nuke and other visual effects software, both of which are used extensively throughout the motion design curriculum.

The event is created for Motion Design students and alumni — but all Ringling College students are welcome to attend. Representatives from Career Services will also be available throughout the event to provide students with workshops on topics such as resume building, networking, and interviewing skills.
