Le Truc, a design and animation studio based in Geneva and Paris, makes its Stash debut with their latest work for French luxury watch brand Bell & Ross, a dramatic and visually deceptive product film for the BR 05 Black Ceramic.
Fabrice Rabhi, CEO/CD at Le Truc: “We wanted to create a film that would make the viewer wonder, a nod to the pack shot shoot but it’s only later we realize that we’re not in a stop-motion making-of production, but in a full CGI film.”
“‘Le Truc,’ which, for this project means ‘the trick’, the 3D twist, is only revealed at the precise moment of the watch’s exploded view. The use of CGI allows for staging beyond physical constraints and visually translates the aspirations of this collaboration.
“Our role as a creative studio is to provide a controlled yet non-destructive vision. Technical limitations are employed in service of visuals, innovation, and production. This expertise arises from regular exchanges between the client and the team, facilitating a seamless integration of vision and a harmonious development direction.”
