Argentinian designer/digital artist Ezequiel Pini, whose studio Six N. Five in Barcelona gave us the brilliant CG short film The Revolt, just released his latest digital opus, a meditation on organic geometry called Species.
Ezequiel Pini: “Normally governed by circular, organic, and sinuous shapes, from cells and organs to planets and the cosmos, this piece deviates from the predictable and familiar patterns of nature, re-imagining them through the lens of geometry, where elegant, flowing lines of nature transition into sharp, precise edges.
“Dominated by rhombuses, squares, and straight lines, the artwork represents a fascinating renaissance, juxtaposing the organic with the geometric in a thought-provoking display where Nature undergoes a stunning transformation, imagining itself with defined edges and geometric elegance, weaving a charming tapestry of the extraordinary.
“Species attempts to blur the line that separates imagination from reality, inviting the viewer to explore a world where the organic and the geometric coexist harmoniously.”
