Director David Pagaille and the 2D animation team at Passion Paris spent a full year crafting this energized 5 1/2-minute trailer/short film for the launch of the latest edition of Warframe, Digital Extremes’ free-to-play sci-fi game.

David Pagaille: “It was a real challenge to transpose the universe of a 3D game into a 2D animated film, but thanks to a close collaboration with Passion Paris and Digital Extremes, the challenge has been met and I had a lot of fun in the process!

“My aesthetic, and therefore artistic wish to have the panel of colors evolve as the story advances was also definitely a challenge for all of the teams.
