Leveraging the intense emotions of six Olympic athletes, Japanese cosmetics brand SK-II launches a series of ambitious and empowering films with the help of Imaginary Forces, Passion Pictures, Platige Image, and C3 thru WPP.
The films personify the inner demons of each athlete with a giant monster or Kaiju that they must overcome to “take destiny in their own hands”.
Nihar Das, team lead at WPP: “It is rare when a brand’s purpose aligns perfectly with the need of the hour. Not only to highlight the pressures surrounding women in our society but also to share the incredible human stories of how six women overcame these pressures.”
