Visionary Prettybird director Salomon Ligthelm, whose breakout video for aYia you should watch here, teams with British DOP Rina Yang and NYC VFX/post house Blacksmith on this inky music video for English-Nigerian rapper Little Simz.

The final result, a series of highly art directed set pieces, manages a careful balance between light and dark, drama and restraint, artifice and articulation, that showcases Little Simz and her collaborators (Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly) as required but also elevates the film above the torrent of copycat videos from this genre.
