Passion Pictures has signed Tom O’Meara for UK and US representation, a director specializing in animated storytelling.
Since graduating from the Royal College of Art’s animation program in 2015, he has won numerous awards and made films for some of the world’s biggest brands including Microsoft, Facebook, The Crown Estate, and the U.N.
Having worked on Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs, Tom went on to work with David Attenborough and Stephen Fry to bring back The Wind in the Willows, highlighting the loss of habitats for The Wildlife Trusts.
In 2020, Tom made his feature-film debut as animation director on Roald and Beatrix: The Tail of the Curious Mouse, a star-studded Christmas special, that went on to have Sky One’s highest ever Christmas viewing figures.
Tom brings charm and fun to the Passion roster, bolstering the studio’s stop-motion expertise as well as applying his in-depth knowledge of animation and craft to a full range of techniques.
