Media.Work Lightens Up With New Pinterest Brand Visuals

The CG stylists at Media.Work, whose recent work for Skinceuticals we featured in Stash 164, channel a more playful tone in this new series of branding clips designed to “redefine the visual blueprint” for Pinterest.

Igor Sordokhonov, CD at Media.Work: “In early 2024, Pinterest was evolving their visual language, featuring their annual color palette and unexpected twists on photo-real imagery based on emerging Pinterest trends. They identified three key areas of focus: Travel, Home, and Fashion.

“One of our main challenges was achieving a balance between the real world and imaginative objects while maintaining photo-realism.”

“For each of these categories, we crafted photo-realistic 3D visualizations, blending familiar objects with current trends and playful animations. These personalized creations aim to reflect the core concept of user interaction on the platform – where one might start with a standard, shoppable idea and leave with a fresh, tailored inspiration.

“One of our main challenges was achieving a balance between the real world and imaginative objects while maintaining photo-realism, without veering into overly abstract or exaggerated territory.

“To address this, we carefully nuanced the playfulness of the characters, giving each a distinct personality through animation, while the use of texture, color, and form brought the objects closer to the physical world.”
