ManvsMachine Sees Right Through GM Energy

Aiming for “a perfect balance between tech and beauty”, the motion team at ManvsMachine explores stylized thermography and x-ray imagery in this brand film for Ultium Home, a new range of green residential products from GM Energy.

Cristian Acquaro, design director at ManvsMachine: “We wanted to create a visual world that elevates and materializes the capabilities GM Energy is bringing to the forefront of their sector through exquisitely crafted visuals and metaphors that feel as radical as the product itself – championing the power and potential in things normally unseen.

“In the R&D phase we worked with this concept in mind. Inspired by thermography and x-ray imagery, we developed a visual language that feels both captivating and demonstrative to strike a perfect balance between tech and beauty.”
