Director/animator Jonathan Formento and his crew at jformento in London (who crafted this cozy spot for Simba last summer) move from the bedroom to the bathroom with an elegant/ethereal brand film for Australian faucet brand Sussex.

Jonathan Formento: “Over the past couple of years, we worked closely with Sussex to create a series of 3D films and bring to life some of their great designs – adding thought and process behind each one of them and showcasing it in the most beautiful way.

“Following the above, we’ve split this film into a passage of time — going from dusk to dawn. The film starts with soft dusk lighting and transitions to the warm dawn light. It speaks metaphorically about time, through distortion of material and the passage of moments.

“The first part, in the soft dusk light, celebrates the formation of the tap with the organic forms of the metal taking the full screen to show fluidity. We transition into the warm light where we focus on movement and product. We finish our film with the products being set in the warm sunrise scene.”
