From the release:
Leading LA-based VFX, color and finishing post facility, JAMM expands its offering to London with the addition of TASTE, led by creative director Alex Lovejoy, head of CG Ted Harrison, and EP Louise Unwin.
The three leading creatives leveraged their networks to establish JAMM’s new partnership in London as TASTE servicing the advertising, episodic and film industries. The goal is to create an environment where both employees and clients can excel, fostered by an environment promoting collaboration.
Alex Lovejoy’s connection with JAMM goes back years having formerly worked with Co-founder and EP, Asher Edwards. Alex shared his excitement and explained, “Our competitive edge is the ability to launch in London with a nimble, agile team while benefiting from the full support of our established team in LA. This allows us to offer a more tailored, personalized relationship to our clients and industry partners.” Throughout his tenure Lovejoy has collaborated with directors such as, The Sacred Egg, Megaforce, Alaska, and Rollo Jackson. Working with brands such as EasyJet, Burberry, and EA Sports FIFA ‘25.
Executive Producer Louise Unwin first met Alex Lovejoy at MPC in London in 2016 and they have since teamed up on numerous campaigns collaborating with agencies like VCCP, Wieden & Kennedy, Uncommon and Sky Creative among others. Louise has also contributed to major Christmas campaigns including TK Maxx and Marks & Spencer Clothing. “This is a different and fresh approach for us which is very exciting. We are creating a unique space for our clients and employees to visualise their work,” Louise remarked.
Ted Harrison brings a unique perspective shaped by his experience in both advertising and film. He has contributed to major feature films including The Lion King and The Matrix Resurrections for esteemed companies such as MPC Film and One Of Us. In advertising his recent work at The Mill includes Škoda’s Be More Elroq campaign alongside Dom & Nic from Outsider. Drawn to the industry’s high caliber of work, impressive clientele and ambitious vision, his portfolio also features projects such as Mercedes: The Hunt for Glory, multiple O2 campaigns, and the Super Bowl spot Jeep: Electric Boogie.
“I was drawn to this unique opportunity to work in an independent studio, especially since many studios in London typically expand by seeking work from the U.S. market – whereas this is happening in reverse. After working under a large corporate umbrella for some time this shift feels exciting. The goal is to provide better services to clients, taking on more independent responsibilities within the company.” adds Harrison.
JAMM Co-founder, Asher Edwards adds his excitement about the new venture, “We are thrilled to see this next phase of JAMM unfold as we expand our reach into London with such an incredibly talented and dynamic team.”
The TASTE team is rapidly assembling a top-tier roster with multiple key hires already in place. In the coming months they will unveil a new state of the art studio in London, further solidifying their expansion into this new market.
