Hollywood, CA, June 19, 2018 – Danixa Diaz joins brand creative agency, Troika Media Group (OTC: MTWO) as their Vice President of Business Development. Diaz will be responsible for promoting and developing new business opportunities for the agency’s expansion into Digital Marketing, Data Analytics, Live Fan Engagement and Experiential Activation in addition to their renowned services in brand strategy, creative and marketing content.

Diaz is a seasoned business development executive, with deep entertainment and media experience, combined with a broad understanding of targeted marketing creative, across the US Domestic, Hispanic and international markets.
Prior to joining Troika, Diaz was founder and Executive Producer of the business development and consulting firm iartists. Her client roster included Prologue Films, among others, where she worked side by side with industry pioneer Kyle Cooper, and developed opportunities for the studio with brands such as Apple, Bose, Fox, NFL Network, Infiniti and others.
Diaz started her career in entertainment and media in Miami, moving to Los Angeles in 2003, where she demonstrated her expertise in branding as Executive Producer at seminal agency 3 Ring Circus. She later became Director of Business Development at Imaginary Forces, where she honed her skills across verticals. Diaz led the agency’s growth for seven years, during which the firm earned an EMMY for the title sequence of AMC’s breakthrough series, Mad Men.

Diaz is a long-term member of PromaxBDA and has served on its Board of Directors twice since 2005. She also serves on the Executive Committee for Motion + Title Design at the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Diaz also regularly dedicates time to teaching and mentoring young talent, including leading a Senior Business Seminar at Otis College of Art and Design, guest speaking at UCLA Extension, leading “Pitch-Therapy” industry panels, and other educational seminars.
Diaz holds a Bachelors of Science in Journalism and Mass Communication from Florida International University. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband of ten years, Chef Daniel Edlund, and has two daughters, Alexa and Danay. Alexa is following in her mother’s footsteps and is a young executive on the Global Marketing Team for Documentaries at Netflix. While youngest daughter, Danay, is finishing her business degree at Baruch in New York City. “I raised my girls on my own before meeting Daniel, and seeing them strive for a higher education and greater opportunities is my biggest source of pride and joy… and, against all odds, it was all possible because I had the determination and patience to follow an industry I love with great passion.” added Diaz.
