Machinery found on the factory floor is seldom the subject of sleek and artful product films, which is a big part of what makes this austere CG opus from FutureDeluxe and CD Raj Davsi for the Markforged FX10 metal 3D printer a treat.
From FutureDeluxe: “Markforged approached us to create a product film showcasing the key features and benefits of Mark’s Next-Gen Industrial 3D Printer. To focus on the printer’s software upgrades, which enhance performance and speed, an internal camera for remote troubleshooting, as well as being both strong & reliable.
“We dived into R&D, exploring the capabilities of both Houdini and Cinema 4D, building an intricate system to deliver the best results possible whilst maintaining a consistent design aesthetic throughout the film.”
“After speaking with Markforged it was quickly apparent that we shared similar brand values. Aiming to create best-in-class work driven by our passion to create the future. Markforged was extremely collaborative and gave complete trust to our team. By combining their industry expertise with our creative vision and technical skills, we created a launch film that not only met but surpassed expectations.
“Markforged represents precision and accuracy. Therefore when designing and animating a printed part we wanted to ensure the internal structure and print process resembled a true-to-life result.
