From Studio AKA in London: “Paper box is an intriguing object designed by agency Graphic Thought Facility for Fedrigoni. It is a box that contains the entire collection of papers available from the historic Italian paper manufacturer.
“Studio aka was commissioned to both communicate the function of The Box and its contents as well as promoting it. The resulting film unpacks the box. Each of its three volumes expands to reveal endless tone, texture, color, and sound.
“David Pape’s sound design uses foley recordings of the object itself to build a percussive score that feels authentic and playful.
Director Kristian Andrews: “GTF had done a fantastic job designing something simple yet fun and inviting. The process of creating this film was a joy because it was all about playing with a desirable object and exploring it on behalf of the viewer.”
