Motion North 49 kicks off in Manchester Oct. 16 with special guests Ryan Knowles and Greg McKneally from London VFX powerhouse Electric Theatre Collective and 3D artist/illustrator Yippiehey (aka Jacob Eisinger).

The multiple VES award-winning ETC team of creative director Ryan Knowles and head of CG/ VFX supervisor Greg McKneally will walk us through the way they mixed cutting-edge CGI techniques with classical 2D Animation artistry and Compositing craft to create the epic ‘The Heroes’ spot for for Coke and Marvel. In this, icons are brought to life in various styles from 1980s Juggernaut, to the contemporary watercolour and pencil cover-art look for Daredevil.

Yippiehey is the alias of German designer and illustrator Jacob Eisinger who specialises in 3D illustration. Working in the industry since 2008 and doing 3D/CGI since 2012, Jacob is now focusing on freelance work. Jacob’s skills and experience cover a wide variety of styles and techniques, but recently he has been specializing in colorful illustrations and character design. Yippiehey’s illustrations are full of fun details, smiles, and good vibes guaranteed!
