In the spring of 2024 Stash featured this mixed-media masterwork from London’s Dog & Rabbit. And now (better late than never) the studio have dropped a BTS video to verify their hand-made street cred (sort of).

Director/animators Andrew Kelleher and Dave Anderson at Dog & Rabbit: “At last! Vincent Van Gogh lifts the lid on the methods behind his creation. He swears there is no AI involved, and he should know.

“This video features hand-made models, human-made humans, After Effects animation, motion capture, Polycam 3D scanning, and AI 3D model generation from Meshy (The dogs were generated from a 2D image using Meshy as a satisfyingly odd experiment. And they may deserve their own ‘making-of’ video).”
