The design and animation team at Brikk in Stockholm stage the leisurely and idyllic journey of an espresso machine from Italy to Norway in this thoughtfully rendered product launch film for La Marzocco.

Samuel Fast Hurtigkarl, CD at Brikk: “Marzocco reached out to Brikk with a lovely 2D Animation brief, unveiling their new Linea Mini Scandinavian edition. As a Scandinavian-based studio that admires Marzocco, we were super excited to get started on the project and tell the story of the Linea Mini’s journey from Florence to the fjords of Bergen. However, the timeline of four weeks posed a significant challenge.

“The solution was to put together a slightly bigger team and start painting the backgrounds and animating the scenes before we had approved the storyboards, contracts, and even poured our first morning espresso.”
