It’s tough to name a current director/animator more sought after or influential than Alberto Mielgo (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Love, Death & Robots, plus an Oscar) so he gets our full attention when new work drops.

This latest, produced in collaboration with Madrid animation studio Illusorium and Agora Studio, is an style-defining 8-minute exercise in character, action, and narrative disguised as a reveal trailer for Marathon, Bungie’s new team-based extraction shooter, due to release September, 2025.
