After working with BUCK on the identity for the London stop on Playgrounds’ new In Motion traveling festival, Amsterdam-based director Erwin van den IJssel translated the branding into these stand-out opening titles.

Erwin van den IJssel: “All good things come in threes, and having done the Playgrounds titles twice before, I was happy to be asked to create the opening for their In Motion festival held in London and Rotterdam.

“After creating the look and feel for the new festival with the fine folks at BUCK, I wanted to take the wavelength concept at the core of the identity in as many directions as possible. The resulting titles are a patchwork of styles and ideas (Water slides! Apples! Balloon animals!), but isn’t that a fitting way to enter the creative world of a design festival.”
