Kevin McCrae, CD/founder at Revenant in Glasgow: “Revenant was commissioned by agency Squint/Opera to produce a 360° animated film as part of the new Battersea Power Station Lift 109 viewing experience in London.
“Battersea is opening its doors to the public for the first time in its history, having undergone extensive refurbishment including the installation of a glass elevator to take visitors 109 meters up one of its iconic chimneys for a panoramic view of London.
“Guests enter through an interactive multimedia space where Revenant’s installation will immerse the visitor in animated visuals representing electricity generation and a spectacular London landmark landscape reveal.
“The final sequence was created using Houdini and Cinema 4D, rendered in Redshift, and composited in Nuke.”
