Hussain Almossawi, founder/director at Mossawi Studios in Brooklyn, NY: “In this collaboration with Intel, we created a short art film that visually evokes different emotions and feelings through motion, sound, color, and form.

“The twelve shots were inspired by random everyday objects around us, studying their materials, properties, sounds, and hacking our perception of reality.

“The approach behind the making and storytelling of this film was to find objects and fun interactions between them that would stimulate our curiosity and interest in how and why things appear the way they do. Looking at everyday objects with a deeper sense of curiosity translates back into the work that gets produced in the digital space.

“Knowing how things should be in reality, opens the door to hack that reality, defy all the rules of physics, and challenge the mind and eye to create something totally new, and unexpected. It’s curiosity, leading to the knowledge of things, which sparks your thought process and fuels your imagination to create a totally new and unexpected experience.”
