Oscar-nominated French directing collective Illogic leverages their many talents to elevate this spot for a non-carbonated soft drink above the fray with careful blocking, snappy pacing, and fabulous character work.

Matthieu Poirier, producer at Wizz in Paris: “The challenge on this spot (except schedule and budget as usual) was to create a fortress looking like the main character in the live-action.

“So in order to get the best result, we scanned the actor a few days before the shoot (when we knew he was not infected and available for the shoot… we had a backup scanned as well just in case.)

“Character animation was done by Tsunami Studio and the 3D was produced in-house at our VFX studio Fix with Maya and Houdini for the crowd. The live-action was directed by Illogic as well, an incredible opportunity for the team to shoot on a beach right after lockdown.”
