London illustrator/animator Daniel Stankler hand-crafts a surprisingly emotional animated film for UK charity Live Life Give Life highlighting the positive effects of organ donation on the personal relationships of the recipient.

Daniel Stankler: “Originally, I imagined the main character having hundreds of connections, so an entire world of people on heart-shaped jetpacks that allowed them to meet their loved ones. But it ended up being beyond the scope of the film.

“It was also a really interesting project creatively-speaking, as I found I had to interpret my style of animation and visual motifs into the more commercial context of a project about organ donation. It felt a bit like a trial run for future projects in that way.”
