Combining his talents for illustration and motion, Ukrainian creative director Stas Santimov creates a singular species of haunting animated comic strip, exploring mysterious characters through macabre looping vignettes.

OivaviO is his new “web platform for animated gif-stories. This is an experimental hybrid of animation, comics and illustration. Scenes are presented as looped GIF slideshow. The project is aimed at finding new ways to create animated stories for the web space.”
