Electric Theatre Collective Ups Oscar Wendt to EP

From the release:

Award-winning creative studio, Electric Theatre Collective, have announced the promotion of Oscar Wendt into the role of Executive Producer.

If you’ve ever stepped foot in Electric’s London HQ, the chances are you’ve probably met Oscar. A long-running member of the team, he is synonymous with the brand, and has spent the past eight years producing some of the studio’s most dynamic VFX projects to date.

He’s worked across campaigns for Coca-Cola, Nike, Meta and adidas to name a few, and ticked a huge bucket list goal producing John Lewis’ 2024 Christmas campaign. Apple’s ‘Quiet The Noise’ is also a key highlight. Alongside multiple other accolades, the spot, directed by Megaforce, picked up a Cannes Lion for VFX, something he remains hugely proud of.

Oscar has cultivated strong relationships with leading agencies and directors throughout his career, collaborating regularly with top-tier directors such as Adam Berg, Rollo Jackson and Craig Gillepsie. His new role will allow him to nurture and strengthen key relationships, supporting the reach of the Collective’s world-class offering. Alongside this, he will continue to produce impeccable VFX, and will help oversee the growth and development of the production team.

Oscar comments: “It’s hard to think back to a time before Electric. I’ve grown with the company: a proud witness each time we’ve raised the bar and produced groundbreaking work. The team is truly elite. I’m proud to be a part of it and to promote our talent to new audiences.”

Head of Production, Matt Williams, adds: “Oscar has been a key part of the team since he joined us in 2017 and his production journey has been a treat to behold. His wisdom, energy and passion for all things Electric is contagious and he’s a perfect candidate for the role. I’m excited to see where he takes it.”
